Brent Lofton
Regional General Manager – Central Region
Brent Lofton, Regional General Manager, is responsible for the daily operations of the Central Region of Pioneer Lines, which includes the states of Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana.
Mr. Lofton is a third-generation railroader and brings over twenty years of operating and management experience to Pioneer. He started is railroad career while still in high school in Monroeville, AL as a Flagman and Track Laborer for the Alabama Railroad. Upon graduating, he was promoted to fulltime Conductor. He later joined Keokuk Junction Railway Co.(KJRY) , a subsidiary of Pioneer Lines, where he served as Assistant General Manager and General Manager of Pioneer’s largest railroad. Mr. Lofton also oversaw the intra-plant switching operations at one of Pioneer’s largest customers, providing on-demand switching services and a full spectrum of ancillary services within a complex manufacturing environment. Mr. Lofton assumed his current responsibilities in August 2019, overseeing the operations of 5 railroads in Pioneer’s system.
Mr. Lofton earned his Locomotive Engineering Certificate from Keokuk Junction Railway in 1998.
