Jodi Heath
Director of Business Development – Northern Region
Jodi Heath joined the Pioneer Lines team as the Director of Business Development of the Northern Region in December 2019. Ms. Heath has responsibility for the management and growth of Pioneer’s franchise across the states of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. She works with Pioneer’s existing customer base and new industries to facilitate access to the national rail network through Pioneer Lines, as an integral link in their supply chains.
Ms. Heath began her railroad career with Norfolk Southern in 2014 where she managed sixty-two of the NS network short lines in eight states. She worked with Department of Defense and other various government agencies to secure both domestic and international shipments, including military shipments for the Midwest.
Prior to working in the railroad industry, Ms. Heath traded grain commodities for more than twenty-two years at various co-ops, terminals, processors, and ethanol facilities. She was also the branch manager for Helena Chemical in Huntington, IN.
Ms. Heath attended Purdue University in Fort Wayne, IN majoring in Occupational Leadership and minoring in Communications.
