John P. Murray
Chief Commercial Officer
John Murray, Chief Commercial Officer, is responsible for the execution of the company’s strategic commercial activities, customer relationship development and organizational advancement, and is a member of Pioneer’s executive team. Mr. Murray has more than 16 years of transportation and industrial markets experience. Prior to joining Pioneer Lines Mr. Murray held various leadership and management positions at CSX Transportation and the Florida East Coast Railway.
Mr. Murray’s track record in carload and intermodal service products have afforded customer opportunities to improve and enhance their supply chain networks. He has successfully coordinated the delivery of large and small customer focused strategies in various markets across the US, including complex industrial projects.
Mr. Murray serves as the Rail Advisor to the Board for the Food Shippers of America Organization, whose mission is to promote high standards and continuing education of transportation and supply chain services to the food industry.
Mr. Murray earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Computer Information Systems from Bentley University, in Waltham, Massachusetts.
