Kristin Bevil
General Counsel
Kristin Bevil, General Counsel, is responsible for overseeing Pioneer Lines legal affairs and is a member of Pioneer’s executive team.
Prior to joining Pioneer Lines, Bevil was Vice President & General Counsel of The Indiana Rail Road Company, a successful regional railroad, managing and advising the executive team on legal matters involving litigation, regulatory compliance, labor, commercial and real-estate transactions. Before going in-house, Bevil practiced with the law firm of Fletcher & Sippel, LLC in Chicago, which specializes in railroad-related litigation, commercial and regulatory issues. Bevil is currently on the Board of the Association of Short Line & Regional Railroads and Vice Chair of the Board of Indiana Operation Lifesaver. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri and her Law Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
